Our Services

The Landscape Group is a group of the best contractors in the state working under the supervision of one designer, Linda Fraser Zimmer.  Your personalized service begins by meeting with Linda for a consultation. Together we will talk about the objectives of the landscape, how the areas will be used, your likes and dislikes.  The style of the garden created will be a style that suits you, the style of your home and the surroundings.  At the initial meeting you will be quoted an estimate for the design which will be a detailed drawing showing exact layout of all the elements of the landscape including pictures of proposed plantings with descriptions.  You may hire Linda only for a consultation or a design.  An optional service is to connect you to a professional contractor who Linda feels is well suited to your project.  They will provide you with an estimate for your project and your contract for the work will be with them directly.  Linda is also available for a fee for project management.

Fees

Consultation

Horticultural advice, plant identification, problem solving and new ideas are given at your site. If your project involves more than enhancing existing spaces, then a landscape design is needed. A consultation fee of $200.00 is charged for the initial meeting with Linda. If you decide you want a full design, the $200.00 for the initial meeting will be applied towards the design. A consultation fee is collected at the time of the consultation.

Design 

The design fee is based on $75.00 per hour. At the initial meeting, you will be quoted an estimate for the design. A design contract will be signed with a down payment at that time. A site survey and analysis will be conducted (photos, measurements, plant inventory etc.) of your existing landscape. At our second meeting, we will go over concepts for your landscape with pictures illustrating the ideas and plantings. The size of your project will determine how many meetings we will need. Most designs consist of three meetings. The final meeting will be the presentation of a scaled design with professional graphics illustrating the features in your landscape design. The final payment for the design is due at that time.
